Welcome to APEX Adventures!

Two years ago, Langston Charter Middle School gave me the opportunity to begin a unique day camp program designed to give students unforgettable adventure experiences in the mountains of their own backyard. Since the outset of the program, Langston Expeditions Adventure Program, or L.E.A.P. has exceeded my highest expectation. This program has been a dream of mine and I greatly appreciate the willingness of the board of LCMS to allow me to pursue it. The program has grown tremendously in the past two years with no sign of slowing down. Now that the program is off the ground, I would like to be able to grow the program in order to make it available to students outside of LCMS alone. To this end, I've decided to move L.E.A.P. from outside the umbrella of LCMS, joining the program with Appalachian Rivers Raft Company. Effective immediately, L.E.A.P. will take the name of Appalachian Rivers Expedition Program or APEX Adventures. APEX will continue to run the same high quality adventure day camp programming out of Greenville SC, now available to all middle school students.
